Goodwill Reuse Store
Goodwill is a Canadian registered charity that has operated
in the Toronto area since 1935, raising funds primarily
through the sale of donated goods. Profits from the Goodwill
Store are used to fund programs that meet the needs of people
facing barriers to employment.
Goodwill Workforce Development Office
It is the mission of Goodwill to support people facing employment obstacles and enable them to make the most of their abilities. Goodwill is recognized for their work with disadvantaged populations - persons with disabilities, new Canadians, and individuals who face many hurdles including limited education and lack of work experience.
Goodwill combines learning about work with the opportunity to practice skills on the job. This is accomplished by providing sector-based Workforce Development to participants through five lines of business:
- Call Centre
- Customer Service/Retail
- Food Services
- Janitorial and Maintenance
- Creative Services
