Caledon East Water Supply
The Regional Municipality of Peel is conducting a Class Environmental Assessment study for the Caledon East Water Supply. The objective of the study is to investigate the impacts (if any) of revising the Permit to Take Water as issued by the Ministry of Environment.
This notice signals the commencement of the Class Environmental Assessment - a study which will define the problem, consider and evaluate alternative solutions and design concepts, and present the evaluation process to interested or affected individuals and agencies at Public Information Centres (PICs). The study will be conducted in accordance with a Schedule B project as described in the Municipal Class Environmental Assessment, by the Municipal Engineers Association, June 2000.
