Lornewood Creek Sanitary Sewer

The Regional Municipality of Peel is undertaking a Class Environmental Assessment (Class EA) Study to determine the preferred alternatives for the Lornewood Creek Sanitary Sewer Improvements in the City of Mississauga. Through the Class Environmental Assessment planning process, the Region will examine the following:

  • Inspection results of the Lornewood Creek Sanitary Sewer identified pipe exposure at several locations throughout the study area;
  • The routing of the existing sanitary sewer (constructed in 1972), which is currently located in an easement within Lornewood Creek Valley;
  • Selection of the alternatives and evaluation of preferred solutions to the sanitary sewer improvements;
  • Assess the impacts of the project and identify measures to mitigate any adverse impacts.
