Peel Water Story Bus Tours

Bus Tour

The Cheltenham Badlands is a popular stop along the Peel Water Story bus tour, where Peel students here take in the fall colours while learning about the effects of deforestation on erosion and water quality.

PWS Tour at St. Joe's
Students stroll along the cobble beach of Lake Ontario at Rattray Marsh at the end of their watershed tour.

Students and teachers who are using the Peel Water Story resource can further enhance their local learning experiences by actually visiting some of the many wondrous places described in the resource.

The Peel Water Story’s GIS page includes the “Places to Go” interactive map. Those sites are among the numerous places your class can visit as part of the full day Peel Water Story BUS TOUR.

Region staff will guide you on a customized tour of Peel’s natural and human water systems, from the headwaters of Caledon to the shores of Lake Ontario. Along the route you will meet experts in their fields who will breathe life into the water education covered in the classroom.
