Ontario Health Study Comes To Brampton All Day

The Ontario Health Study (OHS), the largest single health study in Canadian history, is coming to Brampton on its province-wide blood collection program from Tuesday, March 10 to Saturday, March 14.

The Brampton Study Centre is one of several "pop-up" locations opening across the province. Currently there are over 325 appointment slots available for Brampton and surrounding area residents to fill and provide blood samples.

Those who take part will have the chance to be part of a rich genetic database of Ontarians that could provide unprecedented insights into chronic diseases and answer key factors influencing the health and quality of life of all Ontarians. Participants will also receive a detailed blood analysis report (including complete blood count and blood-sugar analysis) within 10 business days.
