Shredded paper (loose) - option a
Place this item with your organics in the green bin or include with your yard waste.
Shredded paper is not accepted in your recycling boxes as it contaminates material streams at the Material Recovery Facility. Please note that plastic bags are not permitted in the organics bin because they contaminate finished compost. You may line your organics bin with newspaper, paper bags or certified compostable plastic bags.

Shredded plastic is not recyclable or compostable, place in the garbage. Do not mix shredded plastic with shredded paper.
