How to Sort Your Waste

What Do I Do With...?

Christmas tree and Seasonal wreaths (real):
The Region collects cut Christmas trees from the curb. Check When Does It Go for your Christmas tree collection day. Remove all ornaments, tinsel, tree stand, tree bag or netting etc. and place the tree at the curb for collection. You may also take cut Christmas trees to any of Peel's Community Recycling Centres (CRCs) for disposal during the period of December 25th to January 31st. For CRC locations, visit Community Recycling Centres.

Let Them Loose!

Your recyclables end up in landfill if you tie them in plastic shopping bags.
