What Do I Do With...?

CRC

VHS, cassettes, records, CDs, DVDs:
Reusable items in good condition may be dropped off at donation drop off areas at some Community Recycling Centre (CRC) locations. Staff have the right to refuse items upon inspection. Items in poor condition will not be accepted for reuse and a disposal fee may apply for those. Alternatively, there is a private Ontario company now accepting video and audio tape and cassettes, answering machine tapes, VHS and Beta tapes, records, CDs, DVDs, LPs and 45s for recycling at a small fee. Please go to Red Propeller NOTE: Empty plastic cassette or video tape boxes are recyclable. Put empty cassette or video boxes, printed paper sleeves and inserts into your recycling cart or a clear or blue transparent plastic bag. Any video/audio tapes, CDs, DVDs and records that cannot be re-used may be placed in the garbage for disposal.

Need to donate gently-used reusable items in good condition?

The Salvation Army Thrift Store and The Salvation Army Thrift Store Donor Welcome Centres provide reuse services to Peel residents.
