How to Sort Your Waste

main

What Do I Do With...?

Recycle

Cardboard carton:
Remove any plastic overwrap from pop, water and juice cases. Place the overwrap in one plastic shopping bag along with other plastic bags and overwrap, tie it up and place it in your recycling cart or a clear or blue transparent plastic bag. Empty and flatten the cardboard boxes to a size that is capable of fitting in your recycling cart so that the collector can reload the cart for collection Alternatively, cut and flattened cardboard can be delivered to a Community Recycling Centre CRC for free drop off.

Let Them Loose!

Your recyclables end up in landfill if you tie them in plastic shopping bags.
