To do a Quick Search
To search our website, type in a few words or a phrase in the search box (located in the top right corner of this page) and click "Go". You will be presented with the results from your search.
On the results page , you can type in a new search or click on "Search only within these results" to narrow down your previous search. You can also uncheck areas (By-laws, Health) to eliminate areas of our site that do no interest you.
To do an Advanced Search
Using our Advanced Search Page, you can narrow your search to find better results by selecting search options from the Drop-down menus.
Example: To search for No Parking By-laws that are NOT on King Street, your search might look like this.

Search Tips

Avoid Common Words
Use words that will only be found in the document you are looking for

For a Quote, select "Phrase" from the Advance Search
This feature will find your exact phrase in the order you entered it. From the simple search page, you can also put your phrase inside quotation marks.
- Capitalize Words to find Names and Places
Searching for "King Street" will match all words that start with a capital "K" and "S". The search will avoid words that are not capitalized. (ie. the king who lived on the street)
