The Region of Peel's 2010 United Way Employee Campaign is excited to announce its first ever 5K (kilometre) Run, Walk and Roll Event and 1K Kid's Course.
Proudly presented by Walk+Roll Peel, proceeds benefit the United Way of Peel Region.
When: Saturday, October 30, 2010
Check in and Start timesWhere: Begins and ends at 10 Peel Centre Drive in Brampton and travels along Queen Street, which will be closed for the duration of the event.
View Route MapWhat: 5K Run, Walk and Roll and 1K Kid's Course Who: All are welcome to participate Registration: Register now! Space is limited to 1,000 participants for the 5K event. If you are participating in the 5K event, register early to receive a technical t-shirt*! The 1K Kid's Course is limited to 100 children. (Children must be 10 years of age or younger on Oct. 30, 2010.) Cost: A $35 registration fee will be charged to 5K participants. Registration for the 1K Kid's Course is free with a donation to the United Way. Food Drive: Please bring a non-perishable food item for our food drive.

This is a family-friendly, wheelchair accessible event that is open to everyone. From the avid athlete to the amateur enthusiast, join us and help support the United Way of Peel Region.
Service animals are welcome, however, no other animals will be allowed on the course.
If you are a wheelchair athlete or a parent with a child in a stroller or wagon, come out and join us! Sorry, no bikes, skateboards or rollerblades/heelies are allowed on the course.
With your help, we hope to raise over $30,000 at our first ever Run, Walk and Roll 5K for the United Way. With your support, we can reach our goal and improve the lives of those who rely on United Way agencies in our community.
