Residential Toilet Replacement Program

The Region of Peel is offering rebates through a Residential Toilet Replacement Program.

The rebate program provides:

$60 rebates to residents or property owners who replace inefficient toilets with new Peel-Approved
$100 rebates are available for high efficiency toilets that flush with 4.8 litres or less.

Who is eligible for a rebate and how to apply

For single or multi family applicants, the Region of Peel has adopted the Uniform North American Requirements (UNAR) qualification system for its Peel-Approved toilet list. This new criteria combines MaP testing with the Los Angeles Supplementary Purchase Specification requirements, which restricts maximum flush volumes and ensures a non-tamperable 6 litre flush every time.

Rebate Notes:

All water-efficient toilets must have been purchased on or after September 1, 2005.
Toilets must be installed in residences located in the Region of Peel.
There is no deadline to apply for a rebate, although there is a finite number of rebates available for single and multi-family applicants each year.
Toilet rebates will be issued on a first-come, first-served basis.
