Be Water Smart

On this site you will find answers to many questions about the water you use each and everyday. Every time you turn on the tap, step into the shower, or water the lawn, you are using water that is treated and distributed by the Region of Peel.

The Region is responsible for providing clean and affordable water to residents and businesses of Peel. In 2003, Regional Council endorsed a water efficiency strategy aimed at raising awareness and education about water efficiency; Water Smart Peel.

The main objective of Water Smart Peel is to provide residents and businesses with information and incentives for water efficiency and to reduce individual daily water consumption by 10% by 2015.
