Join us for a water treatment plant tour – May 11

Celebrate Drinking Water Awareness Week

As a resident of Peel, you can be confident in your tap water.

Every day we deliver more than 572 million litres of clean, safe drinking water to the residents of Caledon, Brampton and Mississauga. We do this with a team of dedicated and highly trained individuals whose only job is to make sure you have the best tap water.

To celebrate how proud we are of our drinking water, we want you to celebrate with us during Drinking Water Awareness Week.

Join us for an open house at the Arthur P. Kennedy (formerly Lakeview) Water Treatment Plant and see how you tap water is treated using one of the largest and most technologically advanced water treatment plants in Canada.

Saturday, May 11
10 a.m. – 4 p.m.
920 East Avenue, Mississauga

Guided 30-minute tours will be offered every 10 minutes. The last tour is at 3:30 p.m.

Comfortable, closed toe shoes are mandatory for this tour and children must be supervised.

For more than 40 years the American Water Works Association and its members the Ontario Water Works Association have celebrated Drinking Water Awareness Week – a unique opportunity for both water and wastewater professionals and the communities they serve to join together in recognizing the vital role water plays in our daily lives.
