Watershed Connections: Where Everyone Lives Downstream

  • (Disponible en français.) This interactive CD provides ideas on what YOU can do to help protect your watershed and ensure that Ontario has plenty of clean water now and in the future.

Complied by Conservation Ontario, this CD introduces you and your students to watershed concepts in a visual format. For example, find out how water travels in a watershed and how watershed features and systems are linked and impact each other.  Information is also presented on the importance of stewardship activities including the Conservation Authorities’ role in integrated watershed management.

Credit Valley Conservation is one of 36 conservation authorities operating in Ontario and is dedicated to conserving, restoring, developing and managing natural resources on a watershed basis.  Credit Valley Conservation (CVC) was formed on May 13, 1954 and has been working for over 55 years to protect the natural environment in the Credit River Watershed.
