Resource Summary

Watershed Rambles

  • Watershed Rambles is a collection of printed and audio CD resources that connect Science & Technology, Canadian and World Studies, Language and Health & Physical Education to local Conservation Areas. Take a journey into the natural history of each area and learn about conservation efforts, wildlife and more. Included in the brochures are trail maps and recreational activities available at each site.

The Watershed Rambles CD provides auditory learners with an opportunity to listen to the natural sounds while reading aloud to gain an understanding of each Conservation Area.

Watershed Rambles can be used as a starting point into further increasing your students’ knowledge about their local geography and environmental issues.

    The 10 Conservation Areas include:
    Rattray Marsh
