Resource Summary

Highschool Green Ambassadors

Description:

  • Each school year, ecoCaledon looks for two representatives from each of the Caledon Secondary Schools to become Green Ambassadors and represent their school at our monthly meetings.  We hope that through this program we can better represent and engage young people in our community and help build stronger relationships with our local schools.

Ideally the Green Ambassadors should be a senior student (Grade 11 or 12) who is interested in environmental issues (may also be a member of your eco team) and would like to make a positive contribution to our community.  There will be opportunities to use the support of ecoCaledon to support your school’s eco projects.  You will also get to meet Green Ambassadors from other Caledon schools and make connections between schools.
