The vaccines are free with no cost to the public. You do not need a health card to get the vaccine. Refer to preparing for your appointment for what you'll need to know before coming to the clinic, including details about free accessible transportation.

Vaccine doses

Children 5 to 11 years old

Appointments can be booked for children 5 to 11 years old through Ontario's vaccine booking system or by calling 1-833-943-3900 (TTY 1-866-797-0007). Vaccines are also being offered at select pop-up clinics, school vaccine clinics, pharmacies, and doctor’s offices. Refer to get the vaccine for location details.

Walk-ins are not available at Peel Public Health vaccine clinics for this age group.

First and second doses are still be offered at locations across Peel.

If you’re part of the third or booster dose eligibility group recently announced by the Ontario government, you can book an appointment:

Make sure you book your appointment for a date that is at least 6 months after you received your second dose.

Other select groups are eligible to receive a third or booster dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.

Pop-up clinics, pharmacies, doctor’s offices, walk-in clinics, and other primary care providers in your neighbourhood are offering the vaccine.

Other information

We’re offering both Pfizer and Moderna vaccines at all our Peel Public Health vaccine clinics. You can choose the brand you prefer as your first or second dose. However, it’s still safe and effective to mix either of these mRNA vaccines.

These clinics have been tailored to support children 5 to 11 years old with special needs (such as medically complex conditions, developmental disabilities, behavioural conditions, anxiety, and other special needs).

The clinics offer a safe and comfortable child-focused space for children and families who require additional support.

You will need to book an appointment to receive the vaccine at one of these locations. The clinics take place on Saturdays and Sundays.

First and second doses

If you identify as Indigenous (First Nations, Inuit and Métis), or are a household member of someone who identifies as Indigenous, and you were born in 2009 or older, you can get your first or second dose at any of the clinics, pharmacies, primary care providers in Peel offering the COVID-19 vaccine.

Third and booster doses

As of November 6, First Nations, Inuit and Métis and their household members who are 16 years or older can receive a booster dose if you have received your second dose of the COVID-19 vaccine at least 6 months ago (168 days).

You can book a booster dose through Ontario’s vaccine booking system or by calling 1-833-943-3900.

Homebound residents are people who live in Peel and cannot physically leave their home to receive the vaccine. This could be due to medical, social, or other cognitive reasons. Complete the form and we'll contact you to book your appointment.

You do not need to book an appointment at this time.

Appointments for children 5 to 11 years old

We’re currently not able to offer homebound appointments for children 5 to 11 years old. Once we receive guidance on the safe transportation of the paediatric Pfizer vaccine we will provide an update on homebound appointment for this age group.
