THE REGIONAL MUNICIPALITY OF PEEL

BY-LAW NUMBER 14-2001
 
A by-law to implement a stopping prohibition on the west side of Regional Road 50 (Highway 50) from Regional Road 9 (King Street) to a point located 215 metres north of Regional Road 9 (King Street) for the hours of 06:00-09:00, Monday to Friday, to implement a stopping prohibition on the east side of Regional Road 50 (Highway 50) from Regional Road 9 (King Street) to a point located 215 metres north of Regional Road 9 (King Street) for the hours of 16:00-19:00, Monday to Friday, to implement a stopping prohibition on both sides of Regional Road 50 (Highway 50) from Elizabeth Street to Regional Road 9 (King Street) anytime, and to amend By-law Number 48-94 being a by-law to regulate traffic on roads under the jurisdiction of the Regional Municipality of Peel.


WHEREAS the Council of the Regional Corporation on the 12th May, 1994 passed By-law 48-94 to consolidate the by-laws that regulate traffic on roads under the jurisdiction of the Regional Municipality of Peel and which by-law is hereinafter referred to as "the by-law";

AND WHEREAS the Council of the Regional Municipality of Peel has by resolution passed on the 29th day of March, 2001, authorized the enactment of a by-law to amend the by-law with respect to implementing a stopping prohibition on the west side of Regional Road 50 (Highway 50) from Regional Road 9 (King Street) to a point located 215 metres north of Regional Road 9 (King Street) for the hours of 06:00-09:00, Monday to Friday, to implementing a stopping prohibition on the east side of Regional Road 50 (Highway 50) from Regional Road 9 (King Street) to a point located 215 metres north of Regional Road 9 (King Street) for the hours of 16:00-19:00, Monday to Friday, and to implementing a stopping prohibition on both sides of Regional Road 50 (Highway 50) from Elizabeth Street to Regional Road 9 (King Street) anytime.



NOW THEREFORE, the Council of the Regional Corporation enacts as follows:

  1. That Part 3 of Schedule I of the by-law is amended by adding the following:

50 Both From Elizabeth Street to Regional Road 9 (King Street) Anytime
50 West From Regional Road 9 (King Street) to the south limit of the Humber River Bridge 06:00-09:00

Monday to Friday
50 East From Regional Road 9 (King Street) to the south limit of the Humber River Bridge 16:00-19:00 Monday to Friday
