THE REGIONAL MUNICIPALITY OF PEEL
 
BY-LAW NUMBER 29-2002
 
A by-law to implement speed limits on Regional Road 50 (Highway 50), north of Regional Road 9 (King Street) and to amend By-law Number 41-2001 being a by-law to regulate traffic on roads under the jurisdiction of the Regional Municipality of Peel.

WHEREAS the Council of the Regional Corporation on the 13th September, 2001 passed By-law 41-2001 to consolidate the by-laws that regulate traffic on roads under the jurisdiction of the Regional Municipality of Peel and which by-law is hereinafter referred to as "the by-law";

AND WHEREAS the Council of the Regional Municipality of Peel has by resolution passed on the 9th May, 2002, authorized the enactment of a by-law to amend the by-law with respect to implementing speed limits on Regional Road 50 (Highway 50) north of Regional Road 9 (King Street);

NOW THEREFORE, the Council of the Regional Corporation enacts as follows:

1. That Part 10 of Schedule 1 of the by-law be amended by deleting the following:

  Regional Road No. From To
       
  50 100 metres south of Allan Drive/ Wilton Drive Gibson Lake Road
       
  50 Brawton Drive Highway 9


2. That Part 10 of Schedule 1 of the by-law be amended by adding the following:

  Regional Road No. From To
       
  50 100 metres south of Allan Drive/ Wilton Drive 500 metres north of Regional Road 9
       
  50 20 metres south of Gibson Lake Drive 30 metres south Zimmerman Drive


3. That Part 12 of Schedule 1 of the by-law be amended by adding the following:

  50 500 metres north of Regional Road 9 120 metres north of Bolton Heights Road

4. That Part 13 of Schedule 1 of the by-law be amended by adding the following:

  Regional Road No. From To
       
  50 120 metres north of Bolton Heights Road 20 metres south of Gibson Lake Drive
       
  50 30 metres south Zimmerman Drive Highway 9
