WHEREAS the lands described in Schedule "A" to this by-law (the "Subject Lands") are part of the Regional Road system and the Regional Corporation has jurisdiction over the subject lands pursuant to Section 52(3) of the Municipal Act, 2001, S.O. 2001, c. 25 (the "Municipal Act");

AND WHEREAS the Council of the Regional Corporation pursuant to Section 34(1) of the Municipal Act has determined that the Subject Lands may be closed;

AND WHEREAS the closure of the Subject Lands does not require any of the consents in Section 34 of the Municipal Act;

AND WHEREAS notice of this proposed by-law was published once a week for four successive weeks;

AND WHEREAS the lands described in Schedule "B" to this by-law (the "Lands to be Transferred") are owned by the Regional Municipality of Peel;

AND WHEREAS it is the intention of the Regional Corporation to sell the Lands to be Transferred;

NOW THEREFORE the Council of the Regional Corporation enacts as follows:

1. That those parts of the public highway described in Schedule "A" attached hereto being the Subject Lands, be and the same are hereby stopped-up, closed and deprived of their character as a public highway or street;

2. That the Lands to be Transferred described in Schedule "B" attached hereto, as Parcel I be sold to William Stewart Reid and Lynda Lee Reid; and Parcel II to , subject to the reservation of an existing easement over Part 3; and Parcel III to Thomas Walker Bain and Patricia Leslie Bain, subject to the reservation of an existing easement over Part 4 required by the Regional Corporation;

3. That all documents necessary to effect the offer, sale and transfer of the Lands to be Transferred, and all required utility easements may be executed by the Regional Corporation's duly authorized signing officers.
