WHEREAS the Regional Clerk has been granted a temporary leave of absence for maternity and parental leave in accordance with the Employment Standards Act, S.O. 2000, chapter 41;

NOW THEREFORE the Regional Corporation enacts as follows:

That in accordance with part VI, s. 228. paragraph (2) of the Municipal Act, S.O. 2001, chapter 25, Jeff Payne is appointed to the position of Deputy Clerk for the period of September 19, 2008 to September 15, 2009 to carry out the duties of the Clerk prescribed by law or otherwise for the designated period and at the remuneration determined under the policies and procedures applicable to the Regional Corporation.
