THE REGIONAL MUNICIPALITY OF PEEL
 
BY-LAW NUMBER 40-2010
 

A by-law to reduce the speed limit on Regional Road 1 (Mississauga Road) from 70 km/h to 60 km/h from 240 metres south of Highway 407 to 1190 metres south of Regional Road 6 (Embleton Road) and to amend By-law Number 57-2005 being a by-law to regulate traffic on roads under the jurisdiction of The Regional Municipality of Peel.

WHEREAS the Council of the Regional Corporation on the 16th day of June, 2005 passed By-law 57-2005 to consolidate the by-laws that regulate traffic on roads under the jurisdiction of The Regional Municipality of Peel;

AND WHEREAS the Council of The Regional Municipality of Peel has by resolution passed on the 24th day of June, 2010, authorized the enactment of a by-law to amend the By-law 57-2005 to reduce the speed limit on Regional Road 1 (Mississauga Road) from 70 km/h to 60 km/h from 240 metres south of Highway 407 to 1190 metres south of Regional Road 6 (Embleton Road);

NOW THEREFORE, the Council of the Regional Corporation enacts as follows:

1. That Part 19 of Schedule I of By-law 57-2005 is amended by deleting the following:
