The Devon Group is pursuing meetings with the new cabinet members and a meeting has been scheduled for December 18th with Jim Watson, Minister of Municipal Affairs and Housing. It is expected that meetings with other Ministers will take place in the New Year.

Councillor Parrish stated that overall she was very pleased with the success of the campaign noting that it was very focussed and well thought out.

Councillor Parrish thanked the members of the Public Information Campaign (PIC) Ad hoc Committee and the staff who have supported the work of the Committee. She noted that reference binders for the members of the Committee will be prepared that will include all reports, presentations and minutes of the PIC meetings.

Marilyn Hood, Director, Communication Services advised that the costs for the production and distribution of the newsletter to all households were higher than previously reported, as the cost for Canada Post distribution was omitted. She advised that the final expenditure was within the Committee’s approved budget.
