Lesson plans for exploring waste

Online resources will teach students:

The waste lessons are interactive and includes connected lesson plans and resources that are appropriate for in-class teaching and online learning. It also supports EcoSchools certification.

All lesson plans include PowerPoint slides, worksheets, links to videos and optional activities that extend the learning. These lesson plans can be easily used for in-class or online learning.

We are preparing a collection of online educational resources about waste management. It will include lesson plans, activities, videos, and Peel specific information that can be used to extend students learning.

Kindergarten

In All About Waste, students will learn about the importance of waste management. Through song, story, and play students will be introduced to the 3R’s and how to sort their garbage, recycling, and green bin waste.
