Dealing with the Unexpected
Coping with complications and unplanned events
What if things don't turn out as planned?
A woman who's expecting imagines beautiful images of what life will be like when her baby arrives.
But sometimes the reality isn't ideal.
For some women, a pregnancy might suddenly and unexpectedly come to an end.
Most women have changing emotions as they adjust to motherhood. But some women feel the symptoms of severe depression, desperation and/or anxiety or suffer abuse at the hands of a partner or family member.
If the unexpected happens, don't struggle alone. Help is available.
