Growing up in Peel: The Health of Our Children

This report examines the health of children and youth in Peel age 1-18. Positive and negative experiences during early childhood interact with genetic factors to influence lifelong outcomes. Understanding the current health status of Peel children will help identify areas where interventions could have significant benefit for their future health and well-being. This report will support and inform the "Nurturing the Next Generation" strategic priority outlined in Peel Public Health's 10-Year Strategic Plan along with the Term of Council priority: "Optimize early child development."
