Check out these additional websites for resources on youth tobacco prevention.

The Ontario Lung Association

The Ontario Lung Association developed "Lungs Are for Life" which offers teaching modules on smoking prevention for children and youth.

Ontario Physical Health Education Association

The Ontario Physical Health Education Association (OPHEA) developed elementary and secondary curriculum documents for health and physical education. For more information visit the Ontario Health Education Association Curriculum support page.

Smoke-Free Movies

The Ontario Coalition for Smoke-Free Movies provides evidence on the influence of smoking in movies on smoking initiation among youth, and actions that can be taken to protect children and youth.

The Centre for Addiction and Mental Health

The Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) developed primary education resources for teachers to teach children about substance use and making healthy lifestyle choices.

CAMH also developed a storybook titled "Smoking and Quitting: Clean Air for All (PDF)" for children in grades 1 – 5. The book tells a story about the concerns that children have when people they care about smoke.
