Residents are advised that there will be no waste collection on Monday, September 7 due to the holiday. Waste collection will be one day later that week. Check your collection calendar to find your pickup day or sign up to receive free waste collection reminders.

All Community Recycling Centres will be closed on Monday, September 7 and will reopen on Tuesday, September 8.

TransHelp

Specific trips for Monday, September 7 (Labour Day) and Tuesday, September 8 must be booked by 6 p.m. on Sunday, September 6.

Flexible trips will not be accommodated after 6 p.m. on Sunday, September 6 or any time of day on Monday, September 7.

On Monday, September 7 (Labour Day):

  • TransHelp will operate from 6 a.m. to 1 a.m.
  • The TransHelp office will be closed, with regular hours resuming on Tuesday, September 8.

The Peel Art Gallery, Museum and Archives (PAMA) is temporarily closed due to COVID-19. However, families can participate virtually in over 100+ PAMA@Home online activities and tour four fantastic virtual exhibitions including the newest project Art Voice: Expressions of Youth in Peel.
