2019 Peel Housing Census
A questionnaire designed to collect information about core housing needs, and barriers to getting and keeping housing.
We’re partnering with R.A. Malatest & Associates Ltd. to complete a census of all housing clients, including clients in receipt of housing subsidy, applicants on the Centralized Wait List living in Peel, and clients who are homeless and living in shelters.
The census will be mailed out starting December 4 and will close January 31, 2020.
The information gathered will help us better understand the housing needs in Peel to help develop the right programs and services to meet those needs.
Your responses will be kept confidential and will not be shared without your permission.
Completing the census
You can complete the census by:
- Paper copy that will be mailed to you.
- Online at peelhousingcensus.malatest.net
- Phone by calling toll free at: 1-855-688-1139
If we don’t receive your completed census, Malatest will call you within a week of mailing to complete it over the phone. Malatest can also schedule a time to call you back to complete the census.
The census can be completed over the phone in your preferred language.The responses you provide in the census will not update your current file. If you have any changes to report, you will need to contact your worker directly.
