The Davis Centre has been providing long-term care in the Caledon community for over 30 years.
Currently it is the only Region of Peel Long Term Care centre that offers respite care.
Upgrades to air conditioning system
We're upgrading our system so that every resident bedroom will have air conditioning. This is in accordance with the Fixing Long Term Care Act. Currently none of our 64 resident bedrooms have air conditioning, however common areas of the home are air conditioned.

The 64-bed Davis Centre is a one-storey building with high ceilings and spacious hallways and lounges.
In 2005, the Davis Centre dining room was expanded and remodelled into a more modern and comfortable space for residents to gather for meals, celebrations and events.
Its high ceiling offers natural light, while its beautiful stone fireplaces make the room look and feel like a northern Ontario chalet.
The Davis Centre garden area stretches throughout the back of the entire building. This enclosed space features a vegetable garden, a patio with a barbeque and quiet sections where residents can rest, bird-watch and spend time with family and friends.
Helping Hands volunteer program
Helping Hands volunteers also organize annual bazaars and bake sales. The funds raised at these events are used to further enhance programs for residents.
