Holiday Season Service and Delivery in Peel Region
BRAMPTON, ON. (December 17, 2018) – Region of Peel offices and non-emergency services will be closed for the holidays from Tuesday, December 25, 2018 to Tuesday, January 1, 2019, inclusive.

Holiday garbage exemption period
Garbage exemption takes place on your scheduled garbage collection day. Check your collection calendar to know your Exemption dates for December and January.
Community Recycling Centres (CRCs) closures
All CRCs will be closed Tuesday, December 25 to Wednesday, December 26 and Tuesday, January 1, 2019. All CRCs (except Bolton) will be open from 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Monday, December 24 and Monday, December 31. The CRCs will operate on regular hours from Thursday, December 27 to Sunday, December 30 and return to regular hours on Wednesday, January 2, 2019. Click here for CRC locations and hours.
Christmas Tree Disposal
The Region collects real Christmas trees from the curb. Put your Christmas tree at the curb on your scheduled recycling collection day during the weeks of January 7 and January 14, 2019. Trees taller than 3 m. (10 ft.) can be dropped off at any Peel Community Recycling Centre. Visit Where does it Go and type in “Christmas Tree” for more information on proper set-out. For residents in apartment/condominium buildings, please contact your property manager for correct disposal options.

Children’s Services Operations
Closed on Tuesday, December 25 and will reopen on Wednesday, January 2, 2019.
Peel Access to Housing and Rent Supplement Offices
Closed at noon on Monday, December 24 and will reopen on Wednesday, January 2, 2019.
Peel Living
Closed on Tuesday, December 25 and will reopen on Wednesday, January 2, 2019.

Service hours will be from 6 a.m. to 1 a.m. on Tuesday, December 25, Wednesday, December 26 and Tuesday, January 1, 2019.
All trips for Tuesday, December 25, Wednesday, December 26, and Thursday, December 27 must be booked by 6 p.m. on Monday, December 24.
All trips for Tuesday, January 1 and Wednesday, January 2 must be booked by 6 p.m. on Monday, December 31.
The TransHelp Office will be closed between Tuesday, December 25 and Tuesday, January 1, with regular office hours resuming on Wednesday, January 2, 2019.
All subscription trips, except for dialysis trips, will be cancelled for Tuesday, December 25, Wednesday, December 26 and Tuesday, January 1, 2019.

Peel Art Gallery, Museum and Archives (PAMA)
PAMA will close early (2 p.m.) on Monday, December 24. PAMA will be closed on Tuesday, December 25 and Wednesday, December 26. PAMA will close early (2 p.m.) on Monday, December 31 and will be closed on Tuesday, January 1, 2019.
