Brampton Curling Club site to host mobile COVID-19 testing centre
Brampton, ON (July 21, 2020) – Peel's mobile COVID-19 testing centre will be available for residents at the Brampton Curling Club on July 22.
The numbers of cases in Peel have continued to decline. Together with contact tracing, increased testing is working by helping to ensure those found positive are self-isolating and not putting others at risk. This is the latest location in the strategic movement of the mobile testing centre to neigbourhoods most in need.
Location
Brampton Curling Club
46 McMurchy Ave. South, Brampton
Date: Wednesday July 22, 2020
Time: 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.
Before attending, residents should remember:
- Please wear a non-medical mask when you arrive.
- Depending on their risk of exposure, residents attending the mobile testing location may need to self-isolate at home for 14 days following their test or until their results come back negative.
- Results will be available online for anyone with a green Health Card.
- If you miss the mobile testing centre please proceed to one of the hospital-based assessment centres
Mobile testing across Peel is made possible through a partnership between Ontario Health (Central), Region of Peel, Peel Public Health, Peel Paramedics, primary care, community partners and hospital partners like Headwaters Health Care Centre, Trillium Health Partners and William Osler Health System.
