PAMA Wins Brampton Board of Trade Business Excellence Award

Oct. 23 - picking up the physical award at the Brampton Board of Trade office

Brampton, ON. (October 23, 2020) – Peel Art Gallery, Museum and Archives (PAMA) is incredibly honoured to receive the 2020 Business Excellence Award in the category of Arts and Culture from the Brampton Board of Trade.

The award was accepted at a virtual event by PAMA Manager, Rene Nand who noted, “this past year has been incredibly unprecedented and a major shift to the way that arts and culture are delivered in Brampton and around the world. I am extremely proud of the way that the team at PAMA have been able to effectively pivot to continue vital work in the areas of online exhibitions, programming and collections management.”

“We have heard from many in our community, telling us that our online offerings have provided a much-needed respite in times when arts and culture institutions are not physically accessible. We commit to continually learning, adapting and providing arts and culture excellence to our community. We thank the Brampton Board of Trade for this award and look forward to the continued growth of arts and culture in Brampton.”

The Brampton Board Business Excellence Awards provide an opportunity to to come together and recognize the significant accomplishments of its members and the Brampton business community. This year William E. Johnston, Founder and President of Bramgate Automotive Inc. was awarded the distinction of 2020 Brampton Businessperson of the Year and 54 outstanding nominees were celebrated across 12 categories.
