Peel residents 75 and over can now book vaccine appointments

Brampton, ON. (March 20, 2021) – Starting immediately, Peel seniors 75 years and older will be able to book vaccine appointments at select vaccine clinics in the region.

Clinics located at William Osler’s Chinguacousy Wellness Centre and Brampton Civic Hospital, and Trillium Health Partners’ Mississauga Hospital and University of Toronto, Mississauga (UTM) sites are taking bookings today. Appointments will be available as soon as next week.

Peel Public Health’s six vaccine clinics will be booking appointments starting Monday, March 22. Appointments will be available as soon as Monday at public health clinic locations.

Information on how to prepare for an appointment and what to expect at a clinics is available at peelregion.ca/COVID19vaccine. This is a one-stop spot for all residents of Peel to access vaccine at the clinic of their choice when it’s their turn.

Seniors who have challenges getting to and from the vaccine clinic can use TransHelp. Call 905-791-1015 at least 48 hours before your appointment to make your booking. You don't need to be a TransHelp client to use this service.

This news will help us continue ramping up our vaccination program and making great progress in vaccinating vulnerable groups of Peel residents.
