Same-day COVID-19 vaccination appointments for residents 75 and older available today at six clinics in Peel

Brampton, ON (March 22, 2021) – Today, Peel Public Health is releasing a limited number of same-day vaccine appointments for residents 75 and older today at six clinics across the region. Appointments can be booked for eligible residents through the Provincial web site at covid-19.ontario.ca/book-vaccine/. Residents 75 and older without internet access can call 905-791-5202, starting at 8 a.m.

Appointments for this age group begin today through the Province’s expanding prioritization approach. Same-day appointments are available today at the following Peel locations:

Brampton

Caledon

Mississauga

Appointments are available every day this week for residents looking for alternate dates. Seniors who have challenges getting to and from the vaccine clinic can use TransHelp. Call 905-791-1015 at least 48 hours before your appointment to make your travel booking. You don't need to be a TransHelp client to use this service.

Information on how to prepare for an appointment and what to expect at clinics is available at www.peelregion.ca/COVID19vaccine. This is a one-stop spot for all residents of Peel to access vaccine at the clinic of their choice when it’s their turn.

“With today’s opening of the 75 and older age group across Ontario, Peel is pleased to be able to offer limited same-day appointments at six clinics today. Increasing vaccine supply means more access and convenience for eligible residents in our community to be vaccinated against COVID-19.”

Dr. Lawrence Loh, Medical Officer of Health
