Residents who attended a wedding at Capitol Banquet Centre in Mississauga on September 5th exposed to COVID-19

BRAMPTON, ON (September 12, 2021) – Peel Public Health is advising anyone who attended a wedding at Capitol Banquet Centre – 6435 Dixie Rd, Mississauga on September 5th to seek immediate testing and self-isolate while awaiting results because of a confirmed exposure to COVID-19. This applies to all guests who attended the wedding, including those who are fully vaccinated.

Everyone seeking testing because of the Capitol Baquet Centre exposure should give testers the following outbreak number: 2253-2021-46565.

Testing locations can be found by Googling "COVID testing near me" with location services enabled.

Residents are reminded that they must self-isolate while awaiting test results. Information on how to properly self-isolate can be found on our Coronavirus self-isolation page. Failure to comply with self-isolation can result in fines under our Section 22 Class Order.
