Volunteer Opportunity Peel Agricultural Advisory Working Group

The Regional Municipality of Peel is seeking submissions from members of the public to serve in a voluntary capacity on the Peel Agricultural Advisory Working Group (PAAWG). The following positions are available:

This group will advise Regional Council on topics involving the farming industry and agricultural community and assist in implementing relevant Region policies and programs. Members will have knowledge and/or experience in agriculture, urban agriculture, agri-environmental and/or rural topics. Members will be appointed for a term of four years, from 2022-2026.

Applications will be accepted by mail, e-mail, online or in-person at Region of Peel, Access Peel, 10 Peel Centre, Suite B, Brampton, ON, L6T 4B9, until 4:30 p.m. on November 30, 2022. Only those selected will be contacted. Please note that the appointments to PAAWG and its role and mandate will be subject to Regional review, further to the proposed enactment and implementation of Ontario Bill 23, More Homes Built Faster Act, 2022.
