Victoria Day Holiday Service Hours at the Region of Peel

Brampton, ON. (May 17, 2022) – Region of Peel offices and non-emergency services will be closed for the Victoria Day holiday on Monday, May 23, 2022.

The following non-emergency services are closed and will reopen on Tuesday, May 24, 2022:

Vaccination clinics

Vaccination clinics continue to be open.

Human services

Early Years and Child Care Services

Child Care Subsidy units will be closed on May 23 (Victoria Day) and will reopen on Tuesday, May 24.

Ontario Works in Peel

Ontario Works will be closed on Monday, May 23 (Victoria Day) and will reopen on Tuesday, May 24, 2022.

Emergency shelter, food, medication, or personal support

For urgent homelessness supports, including food, supplies, referrals, and shelter, call the Street Helpline 24/7 at 1-877-848-8481. For information on emergency shelter, visit the emergency shelter web page or call 905-450-1996.

Peel Living Maintenance Requests

For Peel Living maintenance requests, contact the 24-hour request line at 905-790-7335.

TransHelp

All trips for Monday, May 23 (Victoria Day) and Tuesday, May 24, must be booked by 6 p.m. on Sunday, May 22.

Public Transit

Visit Brampton Transit and Mississauga Transit for holiday schedules.

Waste collection Brampton, Mississauga, Caledon

On Monday, May 23 (Victoria Day), there will be no waste collection. Waste will be collected one day later that week. Check your collection calendar to find your pickup day or sign up to receive free waste collection reminders.

All Community Recycling Centres will be closed on Monday, May 23 (Victoria Day) and will return to the regular schedule on Tuesday, May 24.

Peel Art Gallery, Museum and Archives (PAMA)

has reopened its Art Gallery and Courthouse. It will be closed on Monday, May 23 (Victoria Day) and will reopen on Tuesday, May 24.
