Weekly yard waste collection begins in Brampton and Mississauga

Brampton, ON. (September 28, 2022) – Weekly yard waste collection begins Monday, October 3, 2022, and runs until Friday, December 9, 2022, for residents in the cities of Brampton and Mississauga.

Residents in urban areas of Caledon will continue to receive bi-weekly yard waste collection on their scheduled days, while rural areas of Caledon will have their yard waste picked up on designated Fridays. Check your collection calendar for more details.

Yard waste must be at the curb by 7 a.m. and will only be collected in a Kraft brown paper bag, or any bin or container clearly labelled "yard waste" with a marker or sticker. Plastic bags filled with yard waste will not be collected.

Please be reminded that grass clippings are not accepted at the curb or at any Community Recycling Centre. Collectors may open and check yard waste bags to ensure only acceptable items are picked up. For more details on yard waste, visit https://peelregion.ca/waste/yard-waste/
