The Region of Peel will be working in your neighborhood along Turtle Creek on the existing sanitary sewer including maintenance holes (see attached map and schedule below). The work includes natural creek channel realignment and restoration in sensitive areas; seeding and tree and shrub planting.View area map (PDF).
This work is to protect existing wastewater services. Wastewater comes from flushing toilets, having a shower or washing dishes. Sanitary sewer pipes take wastewater from homes or businesses to a treatment plant.
Reducing the impact of construction
- The work will be phased to minimize traffic disruption in the area.
- Construction activities will be contained within the creek valley with access from Cristina Court
- Regular working hours will be between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m.
- Pedestrian access to houses will be maintained at all times.
- We will let you know if there are any substantial changes to the project.

The Region of Peel provides a safe environment that conforms to theOccupational Health and Safety Act,at all times.
Schedule
Construction of this project is expected to start on January 7, 2016 and be substantially completed by the end of January 2016. Final restoration work will begin in April 2016 and will be completed within two weeks.
