600MM, 400MM & 300MM Watermain replacement
Britannia Road, Shawson Drive and Westport Crescent, Project 14-1122.
What are we doing?
- Paving the watermain trench along Britannia Rd E from Shawson Dr moving East towards Atlantic Dr.
When?
- Paving will commence the week of November 8th, 2021 and may continue to the end of the week of November 15th, 2021. This work depends on the weather as such these dates may change.
What does this mean for you?
- Where there are two alternate entrances to plazas or properties, one will remain open. If there is immediate need to access the driveway, or where there is only one entrance the contractor will have road plates available to quickly allow access in and out.
- We may need to reduce traffic to a single lane during construction, due to any unforeseen emergency circumstances.
- Paid duty officers will be on site where work is being done at intersections at assist with vehicular movement such as but not limited to trucks.
