Construction work starting in your neighborhood
The Region of Peel will be working in your neighborhood to replace the aging sanitary sewer along Wesley Avenue and Wesley Crescent. View area map (PDF).
This work is to maintain and improve existing wastewater services. Wastewater comes from flushing toilets, having a shower or washing dishes. Sanitary sewer pipes take wastewater from your home to a treatment plant.
The Region of Peel’s contractor, Lancorp Construction Co. Ltd., will be completing a photographic pre-construction survey to record the condition of existing buildings and structures, environmental features, and road surface conditions within, and along the sanitary sewer alignment. A Lancorp representative will contact you to provide information for your consent prior to taking photos on your property. There is no cost to you for the survey and you are not obligated to have it completed, however we do recommend it as it protects you, the Region and the contractor. Pre-construction surveys are standard construction practice. This work will take place over the next couple of weeks, weather permitting.
The Region of Peel provides a safe environment that conforms to the Occupational Health and Safety Act, at all times.
Construction is anticipated to start in the mid-April and be completed by September 2017.
