Pre-design field investigation

Indian Road, Kane Road and Wesley Avenue
Project 16-2905, Assignment 1

The Region of Peel is investigating future rehabilitation of the sanitary sewer system in your area. Sanitary sewers are underground pipes that carry wastewater from your home to a wastewater treatment plant. Wastewater is created when water goes down the drain or is flushed down the toilet. As pipes age and our population grows, we need to repair and replace older sewers to keep providing high quality wastewater services to you.

As we plan for future construction, we will be in your neighborhood conducting field investigations along Indian Road, Kane Road and Wesley Avenue as shown in the attached map.

We expect these activities to take place between April 2022 to the end of 2022.

Contractor and working hours

During the course of field investigations, the Region will be supported by several contractors and consultants to undertake specific tasks prior to construction. If you have any questions, please reach out to construction@peelregion.ca. The contractor’s normal working hours are from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., Monday to Friday. These hours are consistent with the local municipality’s bylaws.

Traffic impacts

There may be minor traffic disruptions during these activities. If we must reroute traffic, we will place signs giving directions.
