• Peel's transition

The Region of Peel has been rehabilitating the sewer system in your neighbourhood. This work includes:

• Lining of the West Trunk Sewer along Erin Mills Parkway between Erin Centre Boulevard and Dundas Street West,
• Construction a new maintenance hole (commonly referred to as a manhole) at Erin Mills Parkway and Eglinton Avenue West.

This work is required to maintain and improve existing wastewater services.

Schedule for remaining construction work

Construction was paused in Spring 2022 due to operational constraints. We expect to start work again on Monday, September 19, 2022, and plan to complete this work by June 30, 2023. This work will be under warranty for two years from the completion date.

Contractor and working hours

The work will be completed by Technicore Underground Inc. and supported by Hatch Limited, both under contract to the Region of Peel. The contractor�s normal working hours are from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., Monday to Saturday. These hours are consistent with the local municipality�s bylaws.

Location of work

Construction work will take place within the construction compounds located at:

• East side of Erin Mills Parkway just north of Eglinton Ave. W,
• Southwest corner of Erin Mills Parkway and Rogers Rd. within the existing Dunn Park, and,
• Northeast corner of Erin Mills Parkway and Dundas St. W.

All construction activities will take place within the construction compounds set up at the above locations. We do not expect these activities to impact traffic or driveways.
