Erin Mills Parkway corridor improvements

Credit Valley Road and Britannia Road, city of Mississauga. Projects 19-4135 and 20-4263

Milling and asphalt paving within Erin Mills Parkway and Thomas Street intersection, on October 8th, 11th and 12th, 2021.

Milling of the existing pavement within Erin Mills Parkway and Thomas Street intersection will take place during the day on Friday, October 8, 2021. Asphalt Paving operations will proceed at night, starting on Monday evening, October 11th until Tuesday morning, October 12th, 2021 (weather permitting).

Night Work

Work during night is meant to minimize traffic disruption while maintaining a safe working environment required under the Occupational Health and Safety Act. Please note that this is a moving operation and as such, residents adjacent to Erin Mills Parkway and Thomas Street intersection, will temporarily experience increased noise levels due to truck beeping and honking sounds, while the work is being done.

Traffic Impacts

Due to the nature of the works, multiple lane closures will be required and left turning as well as drive through movements at the intersection may be temporarily blocked while the work progresses. Pay duty police and traffic control personnel will be on site to assist in maintaining traffic during construction. Traffic at the intersection will be restored for the morning rush hours.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
