Project updates

Where the work is happening

What we are doing
The work includes:
- Multi-use path along west side of Erin Mills Parkway between Credit Valley Road and Britannia Road.
- Road resurfacing from Credit Valley Road to Erin Centre Boulevard.
- Intersection improvements and traffic signal modifications.
When
We expect to start work in spring 2021 and finish in fall 2021.
Working Hours
Typical hours of work are from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., Monday to Friday.
Some weekend and overnight work will be required to mitigate impact to traffic for certain operations like asphalt paving.
Extended working hours may cause some inconvenience however they will help facilitate completion of the project as quickly and safely as possible.
Traffic Impacts
The project will be phased to minimize traffic disruption while maintaining a safe working environment as required under the Occupational Health and Safety Act.
Two lanes of traffic in either direction will be maintained for most works, with short duration single lane reductions only occurring during off-peak traffic hours for select activities.
Emergency access will be maintained at all times.
Please use caution when travelling through the work zone.
Public Transit
Mississauga Transit stops may be temporarily relocated when work occurs nearby.
Please follow posted signs to the nearest alternative or relocated stop location.
Driveway Access
We will maintain driveway access as much as possible and if we need to block your driveway for a short time you will be contacted to arrange for the best time
We will make sure businesses have access at all times.
Project Updates
The Region of Peel will always let you know if there are any major changes to the plans. We will try to disturb you as little as possible.
