Notice of temporary road closure

Watermain and Intersection Improvements - Dixie Road at Aimco Boulevard. Project 21-1310B

The Region of Peel has been working in your neighborhood to replace the watermain along Aimco Boulevard, and to improve the intersection at Dixie Road and Aimco Boulevard. This work is required to maintain existing water services and improve the flow of traffic.

We are at the final stage of the project, and will be paving:

This work will begin Friday, October 21, 2022, and be completed Sunday, October 23, 2022, weather permitting.

Traffic impacts

During this time, a temporary road closure and lane reductions will be required to complete this work.

Paid duty officers will assist in directing traffic, as needed.
These impacts may cause traffic delays. We thank you for your patience.

Overnight work

The City of Mississauga, under the Noise Bylaw, is allowing this paving work to take place during daytime and nighttime hours. We understand this may cause some inconvenience, but shorter working days would require this area to be under construction for a longer period of time, resulting in longer traffic impacts. We do not anticipate significant noise above normal daytime levels during these operations. Efforts will be made to reduce impacts to local residents as much as possible.

Keeping you informed
