The Gore Road Environmental Assessment from Queen Street to Castlemore Road
The Region of Peel has completed the Schedule “C” Environmental Assessment (EA) for improvements to The Gore Road from Queen Street to Castlemore Road, in the City of Brampton. The EA planning process included public and review agency consultation, evaluation of alternatives, assessment of the effects of the proposed works and identification of measures to mitigate any adverse impacts. The study examined the need and justification as well as the feasibility for improvements including road widening. The study also reviewed opportunities for public transit, walking and cycling.
Details of the EA can be viewed below in the Environmental Study Report.
