Your bagged extra garbage will be collected on your pickup day.
You can also take extra garbage to a Community Recycling Centre. A disposal fee will apply.
To be collected, extra garbage must be placed in a black plastic garbage bag and tagged with a garbage tag.
Each bag must:
- Measure less than 66 cm (26 in) wide and 90 cm (35 in) high.
- Measure more than 30 cm (12 in) wide and 30 cm (12 in) high.
- Weigh less than 20 kg (44 lbs).
- Be tied at the top.

Garbage tags come in sheets of 5 tags per sheet. Only one tag per bag is required. Buy garbage tags
